EA Motive Studio Confirms Working on Iron Man Game
Electronic Arts (EA) is said to be working on development game Iron Man. In his post on his official blog, he mentioned that Motreal-based EA Motive Studio is working on a game superhero action-adventure.
Game Iron Man is billed as a single-player, third-person game, based on the titular Marvel superhero. Game Iron Man is now in the early development process.
The Iron Man game will feature an original narrative that adopts the history of Tony Stark, a genius, charismatic and wealthy person, with a hero persona beneath the armored cloak of Iron Man.

Unfortunately, there is still no confirmation on which platform this game will be played on when it is released. However, it is estimated game Iron Man will be present on all major platforms, PS5, Xbox series X and S, and Windows-based PCs.
“It is an honor and privilege to have the opportunity to create a video game based on one of the most iconic superheroes in entertainment today,” said Olivier Proulx, Executive Producer of EA Motive Studio.
“We have a great opportunity to create new and unique stories. Marvel pushed us to make something fresh,” added Proulx, as The telephone quote from Gadgets360.
Proulx, who is leading the development of the Iron Man game, is not a new figure for Marvel, as he previously worked at Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy.
The announcement is in line with previous leaks, which stated that EA was working on a new game based on the Marvel superhero story.
Although there are no concrete details about the plot, but based on the description given it hints that game This will take the story from the “complexity and charisma” side of Tony Stark.
That estimate could be true, if you consider Proulx’s past experience, which is known to be fond of inserting original film stories into it gameplay. Imagine, you will be able to play as Stark while he is being held in his laboratory.
It’s similar to how WB Games Montréal combined its character ensemble in the upcoming game Gotham Knights.
Motive Studio is currently actively working on a remake of Dead Space, which is scheduled to launch in January 2023.
Interestingly, at the end of the post on the blog also provides “hard code” that more collaborative projects will be worked on between Marvel and EA.
“This is an exciting new collaboration between Marvel and Electronic Arts, with Iron Man being the first of several new games to come,” the blog post concluded.
This hard code could be a reference to the open-world Black Panther game, which leaked last July. Internally, the Black Panther game is referred to as Project Rainer, with former Monolith Productions Vice President Kevin Stephens in lead development.
