Redmi Note 11R 5G Released in China, Rebranding of Poco M4 5G
Xiaomi adds to the Redmi Note 11 Series variant, by introducing the Redmi Note 11R 5G in China. The latest smartphone which is rebranding of the global version of the Poco M4 5G.
Indeed, Xiaomi often does rebranding towards smartphone products in the Redmi or Poco variants. One of them is the Xiaomi Redmi Note 11R 5G, which was just launched at the end of September 2022.
Although classified as a new smartphone, the Redmi Note 11R 5G is a brand update or rebranding of the Poco M4 5G which was released in the global market in August 2022.
Even though it’s a rebranded product, that doesn’t mean there aren’t updates from the Redmi Note 11R 5G. Quoted The telephone from GSM Arena on Friday (9/30/2022), it was explained that the RAM capacity of this latest Xiaomi cellphone is larger than the Poco M4 5G.

Poco M4 5G comes in 4GB/64GB RAM and 6GB/128GB RAM options. Smaller than the Redmi Note 11R which offers 4GB/128GB RAM, 6GB/128GB RAM, and 8GB/128GB. The Note 11R 5G also has a microSD card slot to increase the memory by up to 1 TB.
The Redmi Note 11R 5G is powered by the Dimensity 700 SoC and runs MIUI 13 based on Android 12. The battery has a capacity of 5,000 mAh with fast charging 18W USB-C port.
There is also a fingerprint scanner on the side of the body for data security on the smartphone. The screen size is 6.58 inches made of IPS LCD Full HD + resolution and 90Hz refresh rate.
Regarding the camera, this Xiaomi 5G cellphone uses a black island-like design to place the camera slot on the back. The composition is a 13 MP main camera and a 2 MP depth camera and a flash located between the two lenses.

As for the front, there is a notch design lens, with a 5 MP sensor. This cellphone is available in a choice of gray, black and blue colors.
The price is 1,099 Yuan or Rp. 2.3 million for the 4 GB/128 GB option, 1,199 Yuan or Rp. 2.5 million for 6 GB/128 GB, 1,399 Yuan or Rp. 3 million for 8 GB/128 GB. [NM/HBS]
