Easy way to transfer credit between Telkomsel
Telkomsel is one of the operator services that provides a feature for easily sharing credit with others. You can use this feature if you need credit quickly in an emergency. For example, to send SMS, make calls, or buy emergency quota for daily needs.
However, there are several terms and conditions so that this credit sharing can be done. You can listen to it at the end. Meanwhile, there are two ways to share or transfer credit to fellow Telkomsel users. Check out some of the methods below.
How to Transfer Credit to Each Other Telkomsel Via the MyTelkomsel Application
The first way to share credit with other Telkomsel members is through the MyTelkomsel application. This application is a must have for Telkomsel card users. Because in it there are various features and menus with very attractive offers. So, here's how to share credit with other Telkomsel users via the MyTelkomsel application.
- If you don't have the MyTelkomsel application, you can download it via Google PlayStore or AppStore.
- If the installation and registration process is complete, please open your MyTelkomsel application.
- On the start page or Home pagefind and select the menu “Send Gift” which has a paper airplane icon.
- After that, enter the number in the “Enter the number here” or select a number in the contact by pressing the book icon on the right side.
- You can check the section “Save as favorit” so that the number is saved and easy to find.
- After that, please press the “Continue”.
- Then select the menu “Credit Gift” to make a minimum credit transfer Rp. 20 thousand or “Credit Transfer” to determine the nominal value itself with a minimum Rp. 5 thousand.
- After successfully selecting the nominal amount, please press the “Continue” to continue.
- On the next page, you can only choose the payment method to use credit or credit that you have.
- If you agree and want to continue paying, please press the “Pay” in the below section.
- For security reasons, Telkomsel will send an OTP code to your Telkomsel number so that the transfer process can be carried out, please enter the OTP code then press “Send”.
- If successful, you will get a notification “Payment in progress” with a green tick on it.
How to Transfer Credit to Each Other Telkomsel Via UMB Code
The second way to share credit with other Telkomsel users can be done via the UMB (USSD Menu Browser) code. This method could be said to be simpler and simpler because it does not require any application. To make it clearer, please look at the following steps.
- First, please open the calling app or Contact and dialer on your cellphone.
- After that, enter the following UMB code “*858#” and press call using your Telkomsel card.
- After that, please enter the number “1” to select menu ”Transfer credit” and press the “ buttonSend”.
- Then, enter the destination Telkomsel number that will receive your credit in the format 08xxxxx or 628xxxxx and press “Send”.
- Enter the nominal amount of credit to be transferred with a minimum of IDR 5 thousand without a period (.) or comma (,), for example “5000” then press the “ buttonSend”.
- You will get the final warning regarding fraud, you can also make sure the number and amount you entered are correct.
- If you feel there is nothing wrong, please enter the number “1” to continue, then press the “ buttonSend”.
- After that, your request will be processed for a few moments, wait until you get an SMS that the credit transfer to another Telkomsel member was successful.
Telkomsel Credit Transfer Fee
When transferring credit, more credit will be deducted because there are additional fees when transferring credit, even to fellow Telkomsel users. The fees that must be paid also vary according to the nominal credit to be transferred. So, here are the details of the fees that must be paid to transfer credit.
- Transfer nominal credit Rp5.000–Rp19.900 a transfer fee of Rp1.850.
- Transfer nominal credit Rp20.000–Rp49.900 a transfer fee of Rp2.500.
- Transfer nominal credit Rp50.000–Rp99.900 a transfer fee of Rp3.000.
- Transfer nominal credit Rp100.000–Rp199.900 a transfer fee of Rp5.000.
- Transfer nominal credit Rp200.000–Rp299.900 a transfer fee of Rp7,500.
- Transfer nominal credit Rp300.000–Rp499.900 a transfer fee of Rp10.500.
- Transfer nominal credit IDR 500,000 and above a transfer fee of Rp14.000.
Terms and Conditions for Transferring Credit to Telkomsel
Apart from paying attention to transfer fees, you also have to pay attention to the terms and conditions for transferring credit to other Telkomsel users. You need to pay attention to these terms and conditions if problems occur during the transfer process, because there may be terms and conditions that are not met. So, here are the terms and conditions for transferring credit between Telkomsel.
- After making the transfer, there must still be a minimum credit balance Rp2.000.
- The minimum credit that can be transferred starts from IDR 5,000–IDR 1 million with multiples Rp1.000. For example from Rp5.000, Rp6.000, Rp7.000and so on.
- The maximum transfer for each transaction is IDR 1 million. Meanwhile, the accumulated credit that can be received for one Telkomsel number is Rp. 10 million per day.
- The same number can receive credit more than once as long as it has not reached the maximum accumulation limit per day.
- The credit sender must be in an active period, while the recipient can be in an active or grace period.
- Each credit transfer transaction will not affect the active period of the recipient. In other words, if the recipient is within the grace period, the transferred credit can only be used after the recipient tops up the credit to get out of the grace period.
- To be able to transfer credit, the number must be active for at least three days after activation.
