Beta Test Sequel Game Counter-Strike Coming Soon This Month

According to recent reports, a sequel to Counter-Strike: Global Offensive is in development and beta test the game will be arriving at the end of this month at the earliest.

More than a decade after game FPS Counter Strike: Global Offensive released, game developer Valve is reportedly preparing to announce a sequel to the FPS game, and possibly beta test coming at the end of this month.

Reported The telephone from Engadgetaccording to journalists e-sports Richard Lewis via VGC, he said that Valve has been working on a Counter Strike sequel for some time and this game is almost ready to launch.

Lewis revealed that a game development studio had recently made a secret test of this FPS game involving a group of professional gamers who went to Seattle, United States.

Additionally, Valve is tentatively planning on opening beta test the sequel to this game with the Counter-Strike community no later than April 1.

“The top priority was getting the game out and after that fixing any bugs or whatever and taking the game to the next level that people expect from Counter Strike,” one informant told Lewis.

These improvements are said to mean that the game will feature graphical improvements thanks to the use of Source 2, the latest version of Valve’s internal game engine. Additionally, Lewis also revealed the game will support 128-tick servers, a feature similar to Valorant to reduce latency.

Valve is also said to have significantly improved matchmaking, which should make gamers less dependent on third-party services like FACEIT.

Rumors about a Counter-Strike sequel coming out have been circulating for years, but this latest report from Lewis has pretty accurate information.

Because, Lewis has a strong track record, as in 2015 he wrote a report confirming rumors that one of the famous professional CS:GO teams was involved in match fixing.
