Apple Watch Ultra Launches With 49mm Screen and Bigger Battery
Apple Watch Ultra officially launched at the ‘Far Out’ event on Wednesday (7/9/2022). This Apple smartwatch comes with a bigger battery, which is claimed to last 36 hours.
Improvements that Apple has given to its smartwatches in terms of design and performance. The design offers a larger screen, and the battery performance lasts longer.
Apple Watch Ultra is claimed to last up to 36 hours on a single charge. Apple promises that in the future it will make its smartwatch more durable with a lifespan of up to 60 hours.
On the design side, the Apple Watch Ultra features a 49mm Retina display that offers peak brightness of up to 2,000 nits, with a sturdier titanium body with a Wayfinder watch design designed for larger sapphire crystal displays.
Apple added a new button, which can be used to activate various features. This smartwatch has three microphones to improve sound quality, with algorithm beamforming adaptive, which is claimed to reduce ambient background noise.
The smartwatch also has dual-frequency support for the L1 and L5 GPS algorithms, and Apple claims it has the most accurate GPS function of any Apple Watch model to date.

With the new button, users can quickly launch various features in it, or switch to Compass Waypoint, a feature designed to quickly mark points of interest on the map.
There’s also a Backtrack feature, which helps users retrace their route when lost or stray on the road, or to check the depth while diving with the new depth meter. All buttons can work when the user is wearing gloves.
Apple Watch Ultra is claimed to offer up to 36 hours of battery life during normal use. Going forward, Apple says it will make Watches with battery capabilities that are more power efficient up to 60 hours.
Still a matter of durability, this smartwatch has pocketed the EN 13319 certificate, which makes it able to be used to dive to a depth of 100 meters underwater.
Harga Apple Watch Ultra
The price of the Apple Watch Ultra when it was launched in the United States was priced at USD 799 or around Rp. 11.8 million. But the price will of course be different when entering Indonesia.
The closest possible price is the price in India, which when launched in the country was priced at Rs. 89,900, or around Rp. 16 million. Apple also sells three band models for this new smartwatch, namely Alpine, Ocean, and Trail.
