Appears on Geekbench, Specifications for Asus ROG Phone 7 Revealed
Two variants of the Asus ROG Phone 7 are reported to have appeared on the Geekbench testing site which reveals its main specifications. Both look used chipset Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 from Qualcomm.
A few weeks ago, the Asus ROG Phone 7 first appeared on the same site, namely Geekbench with the model number ASUS_AI2205_D.
Based on the model number, it can be said that this gaming smartphone is the D model which was previously powered by the Dimensity chip from MediaTek, but this latest Asus HP will be different from the previous series because it is powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.

Reported The telephone from GSMArena, the two variants of the Asus ROG Phone 7 spotted on Geekbench have model numbers A12205_B and AI2205_C. The two possibilities are the Asus ROG Phone 7 and 7 Pro.
On the other hand, another unconfirmed report directly reveals that a device with a model number ending in C will be available for the Indian market, while those with model number B are still unknown.
If you pay attention, the three Asus ROG Phone 7, both models B, C and D, use the basic version of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, which has a core with a clock speed of 3.19 GHz.
In previous versions the company offered devices with top chip versions from Qualcomm, such as the ROG Phone 5 and 5 Pro powered by Snapdragon 888 with speeds clock 2.84Ghz. Meanwhile, the ROG Phone 5s and 5s Pro series are driven by Snapdragon 888+ with clockspeed hingga 2,99Ghz.
For now, Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 is the fastest version running at speed clock 3.36Ghz, increasing from the base version at 3.19Ghz. However, this fastest version is only available exclusively on the Galaxy S23 Series. Until now, it is still unknown whether this is exclusive for a certain period of time or not.
Further information regarding the ROG Phone 7 specifications states that all three devices will have 16GB of RAM, but it is likely that Asus will present an 18GB version. The device should use LPDDR5X RAM with UFS 4.0 storage, eg smartphone other flagships.
