Asus Zenbook S 13 OLED, Thin Laptop with AMD Ryzen
Asus launched its newest laptop Asus Zenbook S 13 OLED. A premium laptop that weighs only 1.1 kg and a thin design and is powered by the AMD Ryzen 7 6800U processor.
At the launch event on Tuesday (11/1/2022), Technical Public Relations for Asus Indonesia, Riandanu Madi Utomo, said that apart from being light, the Zenbook S 13 OLED laptop is also relatively thin with a body thickness of only 14.9 mm, made of aluminum.
“This laptop weighs only 1.1 kg and is 14.9 mm thick, very light. In addition, we carry a simple and elegant design,” said Riandanu.
Even though the Asus Zenbook S 13 is thin and light, it is supported by tough specifications such as using an 8-core AMD Ryzen 7 6800U processor.
According to AMD Indonesia Retail and Product Enablement Manager, Dony Bramandika, an 8-core AMD Ryzen 7 6800U processor, has the advantage of a high clock speed of up to 4.7 GHz but is more energy efficient.
“With speed clock up to 4.7 Ghz, the AMD Ryzen 6800U 8-core only requires 15 to 28 Watts of power. It’s more efficient and more friendly than previous generation CPUs,” said Dony, who was also present at the launch event.

Zenbook S 13 OLED uses a 13.3-inch NanoEdge Display OLED screen. The screen has a maximum resolution of 2,880 x 1800 or 2.8K with a brightness level of up to 550 nits.
The latest Asus laptop screen is also protected by Corning Gorilla Glass, and has a 100% DCI-P3 color gamut.
As for the kitchen, it uses an 8-core AMD Ryzen 7 6800U processor. The processor is combined with an AMD Radeon Graphics 680M GPU, 16 GB LPDDR5 RAM capacity and 1 TB M.2 NVMe PCI 4.0 SSD storage memory.
The battery capacity is also large. Zenbook S 13 uses a battery with a capacity of 67 Wh, and it is claimed that the battery can accompany users for almost a full day on a single charge.

“The Zenbook S 13 OLED has a 67 Wh battery, so that battery can last 19 hours on a single charge. The duration of charging itself from 0% to 60% takes only 49 minutes, “said Riandanu.
Another supporting feature is a 1080p webcam with 3D Noise Reduction technology and AI Noise Cancellation to reduce ambient noise during video conferences. The connectors of this laptop consist of Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth S, 3 USB-C ports and 1 3.5 mm audio jack connector.
