Xiaomi Redmi Pad Launches with Large RAM and Dolby Atmos Speakers
Xiaomi is bringing in tablets entry level Redmi Pad to Indonesia. Even though the price is quite affordable, the Redmi Pad brings qualified specifications, especially from the RAM and speakers sector.
Associate Marketing Director of Xiaomi Indonesia, Stephanie Sicilia explained that as technology develops, tablet devices are increasingly needed for daily activities. Mainly to access entertainment such as streaming film or play games.
“This cannot be separated from the dimensions of the tablet screen which are larger but still far more practical and lighter than laptops,” said Stephanie at the launch event at M Bloc on Thursday (17/11/2022).
In addition, tablets also have a broad market segment because these devices can be enjoyed by all groups. Starting from children, teenagers to the elderly, many like to use tablets for all kinds of needs.
“On that basis, Redmi presents the Redmi Pad. A tablet that was created to provide an easy and fun tablet experience, even for those who own a tablet for the first time,” continued Stephanie.

Redmi Pad uses a metal design material unibody, but has a light weight. It is only 7.05 mm thick and weighs 445 grams and offers Graphite Gray and Moonlight Silver color variants.
“This tablet is also supported by Corning Gorilla Glass so that the body is strong and comfortable to carry anywhere,” said Product Marketing Manager for Xiaomi Indonesia, Calvin Nobel.
Redmi Pad is equipped with a wide screen measuring 10.61 inches, with an IPS LCD panel with a resolution of 1200 x 2000 pixels and refresh rate 90Hz. The screen is supported by features built-in blue light reductionand has pocketed certification low light from TUV Rheinland, so that the Redmi Pad screen is comfortable on the eyes even if it is used for a long time.

Xiaomi tablet speaker specifications are no less luxurious. Xiaomi Redmi Pad uses quad speakers with Dolby Atmos technology, which are placed on the right and left sides of the tablet. The audio quality is clear.
The sibling of the Xiaomi Pad 5 also promises strong performance. This is because the tablet uses the MediaTek Helio G99 chipset with 6GB of RAM and features 2GB of RAM expansion and 128GB of memory or ROM. Memory capacity can be added up to 1 TB with an external MicroSD.
Redmi Pad is equipped with a battery with a capacity of 8000 mAh with support fast charging 18W. Calvin Nobel claims that the battery can last up to tens of hours, for streaming videos and reading e-books.
“The Redmi Pad battery can last up to 21 hours for streaming video and 26 hours for reading e-books on the tablet,” said Calvin.
As for the camera, it has an 8MP resolution on the back and 8 MP on the front. There is also a FocusFrame feature on the front camera that allows users to stay in the middle position during video conferencing.

The Redmi Pad is marketed at IDR 3,499,000, and will be available on November 25 2022. Consumers can buy it online at Mi.com and the Xiaomi Official Store at Tokopedia, Shopee, Lazada, Blibli and Akulaku.
In-store purchases are also available, by buying at the Xiaomi Store, Xiaomi Shop and Erafone.
