Using OLED Screen, Google Pixel Watch Officially Launched
In addition to launching the Google Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro, Google also released the first smartwatch product under the name Google Pixel Watch. This smartwatch comes with a variety of features and an OLED screen.
Quoted The telephone from Gizmochina On Friday (7/10/2022), Google finally entered the smartwatch market after introducing its first smartwatch with the name Pixel Watch.
Reportedly this smartwatch combines the best features of Google and Fitbit for health, fitness and machine learning.
This wearable also features an OLED screen with scratch-resistant Corning Gorilla Glass 5, and uses WearOS 3.5.

The Google Pixel Watch features a 1.4-inch OLED glass display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 and a stainless-steel frame. The casing is quite minimalist and lightweight because it measures 41 x 41 x 12.3 mm and weighs 32 grams.
The Pixel Watch body has 5 ATM certification, so it can be used to dive to a depth of 50 meters.
At the bottom, the smartwatch has sensors that detect continuous heart rate at 1-second intervals, track sleep, measure blood oxygen (SpO2), and take Electrocardiogram (ECG) readings.
“The sensors on the Google Pixel Watch are arranged horizontally and this is Fitbit’s most accurate heart rate tracking,” said Google.
As for processing power, this watch runs on Samsung’s Exynos 9110 chip or the same chip embedded in the Samsung Galaxy Watch 3.
Despite being an old chipset, the Exynos 9110 is supported by an additional Cortex M33 co-processor to optimize battery life. While the RAM and storage capacities of the Pixel Watch are 2 GB and 32 GB.
Pixel Watch comes with Bluetooth 5.0, LTE, Wi-Fi, and NFC for contactless payments. There’s also a compass, built-in GPS, and motion sensors like accelerometer and gyroscope. Additionally, the watch has a built-in microphone and speaker for Google Assistant and phone calls.
Pixel Watch carries a battery capacity of 294 mAh and is claimed to last for 24 hours of use.
