Ubisoft has released a detailed how-to video on how to access the final chapter for the new game Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.

This video serves as a checklist for those who haven’t played Assassin’s Creed Valhalla since its launch in 2020, or who have recently started playing it.

The final chapter will be added to the game as part of the Assassin’s Creed Valhalla update version 1.62, which is scheduled for release on December 6. This DLC will serve as an epilogue to the story of Eivor that Ubisoft has been telling through Assassin’s Creed Valhalla for the last two years.

A few months ago a teaser released by Ubisoft confirmed that The Last Chapter would re-examine Eivor’s relationship with Havi, though the developer was unwilling to comment on any new storyline going that far.

The video mentions that the final quest will see the protagonists reunite with “old friends and foes”, but doesn’t elaborate on that vague statement.

However, the rest of the video is focused on elaborating the prerequisites for accessing The Last Chapter, of which there are four. The most time-consuming requirement is completing the main storyline of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla by pledging allegiance to all of England, which will probably take around 60 hours.

Next up are the Asgard and Jotunheim questlines, which can take up to ten hours each.

Finally, players must complete all of the objectives of the Order of the Ancients to uncover its leader and upgrade their settlement to level five complete by building the Jomsviking barracks before moving on to the epilogue.

Those last two requirements deliver the expected playtime for anyone hoping to access the Final Chapter for more than 100 hours.

The decision that perhaps makes sense to present to players has been the subject of much discussion among fans over the past few years who have been tired of the last DLC of Assassin’s Creed.

From the upcoming Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, ubisoft will turn to completing the upcoming Assassin’s Creed mirage.

The next installment in the long-running series was envisioned as Valhall DLC before developing into a full-fledged sequel project slated for release in the next few years.

The next installment in the long-running series is reportedly envisioned as DLC Valhalla before the project evolves into a full-length sequel planned for release at some point next year.
