Asus officially brings Zenfone 9 into the Indonesian market. At the launch event that took place today, November 17 2022, the company also revealed the price tag for the Asus Zenfone 9. How much?
To note, before officially bringing Zenfone 9 into the country, Asus itself has released its newest flagship in several countries. Since September 2022 to be precise.
As one of the flagships with a compact size, it doesn’t mean that Zenfone 9 is also ‘compact’ in terms of capabilities. Evidently, Asus still equips it with top-class performance, as the tagline it carries, “Compact Size, Big Possibilities”.
The latest Asus Zenfone series is designed with several upgrade which is quite significant on superior features.

First, the Super AMOLED screen measures 5.9 inches, with a length of less than 14.8cm and a width of less than 7cm, which makes it comfortable to hold in one hand.
Underneath, Asus buried the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC combined with an Octa-core CPU and GPU Adreno 730.
This phone has a RAM capacity of 8GB and 16GB, as well as 128GB and 256GB of memory. Complete with a battery capacity of 4,300 mAh and support for 30W fast charging.
Switch to the camera sector. The Asus Zenfone 9 has a 50M IMX766 main camera from Sony with f/1.9 aperture and OIS gimbal technology. The camera is combined with a 12 MP ultrawide camera with f / 2.2 aperture. As for the front camera, there is one camera with a 12 MP sensor with f/2.5 aperture.
In Indonesia, the Asus Zenfone 9 is priced at IDR 7,999,000 for the 6GB RAM variant and 128GB internal storage. The variant with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage is priced at IDR 9,999,000.
Meanwhile, the highest variant with 16GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage is priced at IDR 11,999,000
However, Asus added, while the 6GB/128GB and 16GB/256GB RAM variants are available starting today, November 17, 2022, the variants with 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage will only be available at the end of December 2022.

As revealed by Asus Product Manager for Smartphone Business Unit Marcia Sung, Asus’ decision to first launch the 6GB and 16GB RAM variants was not without reason. According to him, this is an ideal strategy.
