Meta will use AI technology on WhatsApp and Instagram
Meta announced that the company will use AI (Artificial Intelligence) technology in its current services such as WhatsApp, Instagram and Messenger in 2023.
At present it is clear that various technology products and services released this year use AI technology as well as machine learning. Apart from that, the presence of ChatGPT from OpenAI has also triggered technology giants such as Microsoft to release Bing with AI, and Google to release Bard.
Now, another technology giant, namely Meta, will soon use AI on its social media such as WhatsApp, Instagram, and Messenger in 2023.

Reported by Telset from GizmoChina, Meta CEO and Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg announced the company is creating a new group of top-tier products on Meta that will focus on generative AI to improve their work in the industry.
In the statement, Meta also said that in the long term the company will focus on developing personal AI with the aim of helping users in various ways.
In addition, the statement also revealed that AI will be able to be integrated into the company’s current products, such as WhatsApp, Instagram, to Messenger.
“We will explore the experience of using text such as on WhatsApp and Messenger, using images such as on Instagram, and also videos,” said Mark.
The AI team at Meta will be led by Ahmad Al-Dahle, who is a machine learning and artificial intelligence executive, according to a report from Bloomberg.

Ahmad is said to have reported directly to Meta Chief Product Office Chris Cox, which the report says is an important sign that the company intends to incorporate AI into its various online services and products.
