iPhone 14 Series Officially Passed TKDN, Ready to Enter Indonesia
One step away from the iPhone 14 Series will swing in Indonesia. This is because the four iPhone 14 series have passed and received Domestic Component Level (TKDN) certification from the Ministry of Industry.
Based on team monitoring The telephone on Friday (23/9/2022) on the Ministry of Industry website, the TKDN certificate was issued on 22 September 2022 for PT. Apple Indonesia with certificate number 4615/SJ-IND.8/TKDN/9/2022.
In the certificate there are 10 iPhone series registered because the TKDN value is 35%. However, 4 of the 10 iPhones listed are suspected to be the iPhone 14 Series. For example, the model number A2882 is TKDN for iPhone 14, A2886 for iPhone 14 Plus, A2890 for iPhone 14 Pro and A2894 for iPhone 14 Pro Max.
It’s just that these four new iPhones don’t seem to have received a certificate from the Directorate General of Resources and Equipment of Post and Information Technology (SDPPI) Kominfo. Because, when checked on the certification site.postel.go.id, the iPhone 14 product does not yet exist.
After the publication of the TKDN for the iPhone 14 Series, it is certain that the presence of the iPhone 14 in Indonesia is getting closer. SoWe are waiting for official information from iBox as the official iPhone distributor regarding the launch of the iPhone 14 Series in Indonesia.

Previously, the iPhone 14 Series was officially launched in early September 2022. The iPhone 14 has a 6.1-inch screen size with an OLED panel. The screen resolution is 1170 x 2532 pixels, with an aspect ratio of 19.5:9 and a brightness of 1,200 nits. The screen is also sturdy because it is protected by a ceramic shield and supports Dolby Vision.
Regarding performance, this latest Apple cellphone supports 5G networks and uses the Apple A15 Bionic with 5 nm fabrication and 5 core GPU.
The RAM capacity is quite large, namely 6 GB, but the memory variant consists of 3 choices, namely 128 GB, 256 GB and 512 GB without a slot for Micro SD. Unfortunately, Apple did not announce the battery capacity.
It’s just that this Apple HP battery can last up to 20 hours, when used for streaming video. Turning to the camera section, where the iPhone 14 offers a 12 MP main camera with an f/1.5 aperture and is supported by OIS technology, as well as a 12 MP ultrawide camera with an f/2.4 aperture.
Apple claims that this camera is capable of capturing 49% more light than the iPhone 13 camera.
As for the front camera, Apple has installed a 12 MP TrueDepth Camera. f/1.9 aperture. The advantage of this Apple front camera is that it has autofocus and is able to capture 38% more light.
As for the specifications of the iPhone 14 Plus, it is not too different from the standard version. The difference is that the Plus version has a 6.7-inch wide screen to be exact. Likewise with battery performance that can last 26 hours when used for video streaming.
In addition to having qualified specifications, the Apple iPhone 14 and 14 Plus also have various excellent features such as Emergency SOS via Satellite and Crash Detection.
The iPhone 14 is priced starting at USD 799 or Rp. 11.9 million, while the iPhone 14 Plus is priced from USD 899 or Rp. 13.4 million.

Meanwhile, the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max feature a glass design stainless steel and matte textured and divided into 4 color choices, namely deep purple, silver, gold and space black.

About performance, no doubt. iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max use the A16 Bionic chip which is supported by a 6-Core CPU, 5-Core GPU and 16-Core Neural Engine. As a result, this chipset is claimed to be 40% faster than competitors and capable of performing nearly 17 trillion operations per second.
The battery capacity is unknown, but the A16 Bionic is paired with 6GB of RAM and a choice of 128GB, 256GB, 512GB and 1TB of memory.
The iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max cameras are also capable. For the first time, the Pro lineup features a 48 MP f/1.8 aperture Main camera with a quad-pixel sensor.
The main camera is combined with a 12 MP telephoto camera with f/2.8 aperture supported by OIS technology and 3x optical zoom and a 12 MP ultra wide camera with f/2.2 aperture. On the front there is a 12 MP camera with f/1.9 aperture.
