iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus Launched, Still Using A15 Bionic
Apple has finally launched its newest smartphone product, the iPhone 14 and 14 Pro. Through the Apple Event titled “Far Out” these two smartphones brought improvements from the previous series.
Quoted The telephone from GSM Arena on Thursday (8/9/2022), the presence of the iPhone 14 and 14 Plus, confirmed rumors that there was no longer a “Mini” series on Apple’s latest cellphone. This means that the lowest series of Apple’s latest smartphones is the iPhone 14.
Unfortunately, these two products still use the A15 Bionic chipset, or the chipset that is paired with the iPhone 13 Series. However, even though there is no new chipset, Apple claims that the A15 Bionic in the iPhone 14 series has experienced an increase in performance.

iPhone 14 has a screen size of 6.1 inches with an OLED panel. The screen resolution is 1170 x 2532 pixels, with an aspect ratio of 19.5:9 and a brightness of 1,200 nits. The screen is also sturdy because it is protected by a ceramic shield and supports Dolby Vision.
Regarding performance, this latest Apple cellphone supports 5G networks and uses the Apple A15 Bionic with 5 nm fabrication and 5 core GPU.
The RAM capacity is not too large, only 4 GB, but the memory variant consists of 3 choices, namely 128 GB, 256 GB and 512 GB without a slot for Micro SD. Unfortunately, Apple did not announce the battery capacity.
It’s just that this Apple HP battery can last up to 20 hours, when used for streaming video. Turning to the camera section, where the iPhone 14 offers a 12 MP main camera with an f/1.5 aperture and is supported by OIS technology, as well as a 12 MP ultrawide camera with an f/2.4 aperture.
Apple claims that this camera is capable of capturing 49% more light than the iPhone 13 camera.
As for the front camera, Apple has installed a 12 MP TrueDepth Camera. f/1.9 aperture. The advantage of this Apple front camera is that it has autofocus and is able to capture 38% more light.
As for the specifications of the iPhone 14 Plus, it is not too different from the standard version. The difference is that the Plus version has a 6.7-inch wide screen to be exact. Likewise with battery performance that can last 26 hours when used for video streaming.
