Raptor Lake 13th Gen Intel Core Processor Specifications
As a model flagship of the 13th generation CPU lineup, the Core i9-13900K Raptor Lake is claimed to be the “world’s fastest desktop processor”, capable of displaying speed boost up to 5.8GHz and a total of 24 cores.
Of those 24 cores, eight are high-performance P-cores, with Hyper-Threading, and 16 are ‘E-cores’. single-threaded smaller for power efficiency.
Intel claims up to 15% increase in single-threaded, but a big jump for performance multi-threaded up to 41% which can scale to all 32 available threads, compared to last year’s 12th gen Core i9-12900K.
Six CPU models have been announced, in addition to a new 700 series chipset set for the motherboard and integration platform smartphone new one called Intel Unison.
In addition to the Core i9-13900K, there is the Core i9-13900KF which does not have integrated graphics. Both have cache L3 36MB, ditambah 2MB L2 per P-core and 4MB per cluster of the four E-cores.
Base TDP is 125W but maximum power draw is rated at speed boostwith adequate cooling solution is 253W.
Intel has also announced the Core i7-13700K and 13700KF, which have identical specs, apart from the latter’s lack of integrated graphics. Both models have a total of 16 cores, with 8 P-cores and 8 E-cores.
The highest speed can penetrate the 5.4GHz number and there is 30MB of L3 cache plus 24MB cache L2 in total. Base and max TDP are also 125W and 253W respectively.
The latest models, the Core i5-13600K and 13600KF feature 14 cores (6 P-cores with 8 E-cores) running up to 5.1GHz, with 24MB L3 and 20MB L2 cache respectively. Base and max TDP ratings come in at 125W and 181W for this pair.
These six SKUs can beoverclock and supports up to 128GB of RAM, with 16 PCIe 5.0 lanes and another four PCIe 4.0 lanes. Non-F models feature a base integrated GPU Intel UHD Graphics 770.
Intel 7 manufacturing processes have higher clock speeds, and architecture cache the new generation contributes to Intel’s promised generational gains. Intel’s Thread Director will intelligently.
which intelligently divides workloads using Intel’s Thread Director which determines which tasks are assigned to different core types, has also been updated using machine learning.
Windows 11 22H2 optimizes the handling of user-initiated background tasks. Overclocking is also said to have improved significantly, with P-cores hitting over 8GHz and DDR5 crossing 10,000MT/s using liquid nitrogen.
At the platform level, chipset the new 700 series will enable DDR5-5600 RAM, PCIe 5.0, Thunderbolt 4, and Wi-Fi 6e support. 13th Generation CPUs share the same socket and are pin compatible with existing Intel 600 series chipsets, and motherboard with DDR4 and DDR5 will be available.
For the price, the Intel Core i9-13900K is offered at a price of USD 589 or around Rp. 8.9 million. Meanwhile, the KF model without IGP is priced at USD 25 or approximately IDR 379 thousand cheaper.
Meanwhile, the Intel Core i7-13700K model sells for USD 409 or the equivalent of IDR 6.2 million. While the Intel Core i5 13600K model is pegged at USD 319 or around Rp. 4.8 million, and for the default variant, the core i3 is priced at USD 294 or around Rp. 4.4 million.
Additional models that cannot beoverclock with base TDP ratings of 65W and 35W are expected to launch later. The six CPUs will be available worldwide starting October 20, 2022. These processors will be the main competitors to the latest AMD Ryzen 7000 series processors.
