Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. announced the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 and Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 Mobile Platforms. These two chipsets provide advanced technology solutions to meet the needs of the mid-tier or mid-tier segment and the wider market.
Through an official statement received on Wednesday (7/9/2022), Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 delivers clearer catches, games game effective, and intuitive AI assistance.
While Snapdragon 4 Gen 1, offers impressive performance and AI to make interactions smoother.
In addition, this platform also provides advanced photography features for more precise shooting, as well as enhanced connectivity so that users can share content continuously.
“Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 and Snapdragon 4 provide enhancements in their respective series to deliver the latest in image capture, connectivity, entertainment and AI,” said Senior Director Product Management Qualcomm Technologies, Deepu John.

Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 drives dynamic experiences with continuous power and performance. This chip integrates three ISPs that allow shooting from three cameras at once at gigapixel speeds.
In addition, users can take photos up to 108 MP and record videos with HDR computing through sensor support for a quality HDR image sensor.
Snapdragon 6 features the 7th Generation Qualcomm® AI Engine which enables up to 3 times improved AI performance compared to its predecessor.
There are also several game features that provide up to 35% faster graphics rendering and up to 40% faster processing.
Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 also supports HDR gaming at an incredibly smooth 60+ fps while providing real-time response and high-quality visuals for superior entertainment.
Regarding connectivity, Snapdragon X62 5G Modem-RF System technology is embedded, which enables expansive global connectivity by supporting 5G 3GPP Release 16 and the highest 5G download speed of up to 2.9 Gbps.

Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 offers impressive performance and days of battery life. The platform has up to 15% improved CPU and up to 10% enhanced GPU compared to the previous generation.
Leveraging premium camera technology, Snapdragon 4 includes three ISPs and Multi-Frame Noise Reduction for sharp, detailed photos. Users can also take photos up to 108MP.
The Qualcomm AI Engine is also embedded which makes the on-device experience smoother and more intuitive. Users can get support in an instant with the always-on voice assistant or communicate clearly thanks to echo cancellation and background noise.
