1. Microsoft Windows

Microsoft Windows or Windows is a fairly popular operating system. This operating system dominates computer software around the world. Windows itself is an operating system developed by Microsoft. Windows is based on a graphical user interface (graphical user interface).

Since its first release, Windows is quite popular. One of them thanks to the presence of applications made by Microsoft. Call it like Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word. Until now, Microsoft has indeed released several newer versions of Windows that are more complete and have modern features.

3. Chrome OS

Chrome OS is a relatively new operating system. Chrome OS was released in the mid 2000’s. Linux is base of this operating system. Chrome OS works by relying on web apps.

4. UNIX

UNIX is an operating system developed in 1965 with the initial project called Multiplexed Information and Computing Service (Multics). In the 1970s, the UNIX operating system was reworked using the C programming language by Dennis Ritchie.

The UNIX operating system was later developed by the AT&T Bell Laboratories company. Since then, there has been a commercial UNIX operating system under the name UNIX System V.

The UNIX operating system is commonly used to run computer networks. Just like MS-DOS, UNIX was originally a proprietary operating system command line interface. Finally, UNIX was versioned Graphical User Interface or GUI to facilitate the users.

5. Linux

Linux is a more complete development of the UNIX operating system. Linux itself is open source, where user can freely develop or duplicate programs with the official license from GNU (GNU Not UNIX).
