Vivo S16 Latest Leaks Reveal Chipset and Color Variants
A recent report reveals details of the processor and color variants of the latest Vivo smartphone. The smartphone in question is the vivo S16 series, which is the successor to the vivo S15 lineup, which was launched earlier this year.
Even so, a tipster revealed that the vivo S16 lineup is unlikely to be released this year, but (probably) in Q1 2023. Instead, the launch of the vivo X90 series, which is scheduled to take place in December, will be the Company’s next big event.
The same tipster also speculated that the next line of the S series will have three models, namely the S16e, S16, and S16 Pro.

It is also reported that this device may be supported by the Dimensity 1080, Snapdragon 870, and Dimensity 8200 chipsets. The Pro model is also expected to come with the Vivo V1+ ISP.
Tipster Panda is Bald also added that the Vivo S16 will be available in three color variants, including black, blue and purple. Meanwhile, the Pro version is available in black, green and orange with gold nuances.
Unfortunately, until now there has been no information about the complete specifications of this trio of vivo smartphones.
To note, the previous vivo S15 series came with a 6.62-inch screen (6.56 inches for the Pro version), with FHD + resolution and 120Hz refresh rate.

Both phones have a 32MP front camera and pack a 4,500mAh battery. The vivo S15 supports 66W charging, while the S15 Pro offers 80W charging.
The Vivo S15 and S15 Pro are powered by Snapdragon 870 and Dimensity 8100 SoCs, respectively. The S15 has triple cameras of 64 MP (main, with OIS), 8 MP (ultra-wide), and 2 MP (macro). On the other hand, the S15 Pro has a 50 MP (main, with OIS), 12 MP (ultra wide), and 2 MP camera. [FY/IF]
