Latest Leaked Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 Specifications Revealed
Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 specifications were revealed by Digital Chat Station (DCS), which shows an unusual CPU configuration. However, a recent leak reveals different specifications.
In June 2022, DCS leaked the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 specifications. The leak had attracted attention, because it had an unusual CPU configuration.
DCS claims that the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 (SD8550) specification has a 1+2+2+3 CPU configuration, consisting of one Cortex-X3, two Cortex-A720, two Cortex-A710, and three Cortex-A510 cores. But based on the latest leaks, the specifications presented are different.

This latest leak comes from another reliable leaker, Ice Universe, which says the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 will come with two Cortex-A715 cores instead of Cortex-A720.
The Cortex-X3 will have a maximum clock speed of 3.2GHz, while the Cortex-A510 will hit 2GHz. The Cortex-A715 and Cortex-A710 cores will be clocked at up to 2.8GHz.
The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 is rumored to use the Adreno 740 GPU to handle graphics-heavy tasks, such as gaming and video editing. But to be honest, until now there is still no complete information. Everything is still a leak that has not been confirmed.
Previously, it was also leaked that the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 will have an ultra-high frequency variant, the main core of which will have a clock of 3.4-3.5 GHz.
