Happy! iPhone 14 Pro Becomes the Best Smartphone at MWC 2023
Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2023 has ended, and Apple should be proud because the iPhone 14 Pro has been named the best smartphone at the MWC 2023 event.
quoted The telephone from GSM Arena on Tuesday (07/02/2023), the MWC 2023 committee held the Global Mobile Awards or GLOMO. The event gave awards to several technology companies including smartphone vendors who competed in the category of Best Smartphone or the best smartphone.
There are several smartphones that are candidates. Those nominated are the Apple iPhone 14 Pro, Google Pixel 7 Pro, Nothing Phone (1), Samsung Galaxy Z Flip4 and Galaxy Z Fold4.
Samsung’s presence is quite interesting because the seller from South Korea has included 2 types of the newest folding smartphone. Unfortunately that doesn’t guarantee them a win, because the iPhone 14 Pro wins and becomes the best smartphone at MWC 2023.
MWC did not mention in detail why Apple’s latest cellphone has succeeded in becoming the world’s smartphone king. It’s just that, MWC said that this was the result of judging by world journalists, analysts and influencers.
“The best smartphone award combines outstanding performance, innovation and leadership as determined through the assessment of smartphones in the market during the period January 2022 to December 2022, by the world’s leading independent analysts, journalists and influencers,” wrote MWC on its official website.
For “Disruptive Device Innovation” or the best smartphone innovation, Apple won again with the Satellite-Based Emergency SOS embedded in the iPhone 14 Series. Features that can be used to communicate in an emergency without the need for special hardware.

The iPhone 14 Pro features a textured matte and stainless steel glass design and is divided into 4 color choices, namely deep purple, silver, gold and space black. The screen is Super Retina XDR OLED measuring 6.1 inches with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz.
This sophisticated screen presents an outdoor brightness level of up to 2000 nits or 2 times brighter than the iPhone 13 Pro. The iPhone 14 Pro screen specifications are also supported by the Dynamic Island and Always On designs.
Regarding the performance of the iPhone 14 Pro, it uses the A16 Bionic chip which is supported by a 6-Core CPU, 5-Core GPU and 16-Core Neural Engine. This chipset is claimed to be 40% faster than competitors and capable of performing nearly 17 trillion operations per second.
The A16 Bionic chipset is combined with 6 GB of RAM and a choice of 128 GB, 256 GB, 512 GB and 1 TB of memory with a 3200 mAh Li-Ion battery. The camera is equipped with a 48 MP main camera with f/1.8 aperture with a quad-pixel sensor.

With a combination of a 12 MP telephoto camera with an aperture of f/2.8 which is supported by OIS technology and 3x optical zoom and a 12 MP ultra wide camera with an aperture of f/2.2. On the front there is a 12 MP camera with f/1.9 aperture.
