Garmin Launches MARQ Second Generation, Prices Start at IDR 32 Million
Garmin has officially launched its newest modern tool watch series, namely MARQ Second Generation with prices starting at IDR 32 million.
The 2nd generation Garmin MARQ contains 5 models, namely MARQ Athelete, MARQ Adventurer, MARQ Golfer, MARQ Captain and MARQ Aviator. The five of them are made specifically for users who like sports to outdoor adventures.
Scoppen Lin Assistant General Manager Manager Garmin Asia said that this latest series is the company’s effort to improve quality, as well as present new innovations.

Lin also said that the new modern tool watch series is setting new standards in the traditional luxury watch industry by presenting authentic features to the finest materials.
“The MARQ series is Garmin’s modern tool watch, designed for the consumers we have served for more than 30 years. With its authentic feature set, smartwatch functionality and stunning premium materials, it sets a new standard for the traditional luxury watch industry,” emphasized Lin.
Garmin MARQ Second Generation is made with Grade-5 titanium material, a touch screen with an AMOLED panel covered with a sapphire dome lens. The straps for this luxury watch are made of titanium, leather, nylon and silicone straps.
Chandrawidhi Desideriani Marketing Communications Manager also said that the use of this material is an effort so that every user can feel comfortable and also ensures that MARQ Second Generation has durability in usage scenarios.
“Materials made of titanium, nylon and silicone straps are used to make users feel comfortable. Even for leather straps, you still use nylon material behind the leather so that sweat doesn’t stick to the leather. This material is also used so that the watch has resistance in various scenarios,” said Andra.
